AboutWhat is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. TheFanlistings.org is the original (but not official) web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting the fans.
What is Avatar: The Last Airbender?
Avatar: The Last Airbender is a popular animation TV series aired regularly on Nickelodeon. It's set in a fantasy world on a planet that is home to humans, fantastic animals, and supernatural spirits. Human civilization is divided into four pre-industrialized nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. Within each nation, there is an order of men and women called "Benders" who have an inborn ability to manipulate their native element. Bending is a powerful art form, combining martial arts and elemental mysticism. The bending arts are waterbending, earthbending, firebending, and airbending.
What's the relationship between Mai and Prince Zuko?
During a flashback in "Zuko Alone," it is revealed that during their childhoods, Mai harbored a crush on Zuko, knowledge of which prompted Azula, in at least one instance, to humiliate them both. After manipulating Zuko into playing a game with herself and her friends, Azula sets an apple on top of Mai's head and then promptly sets it on fire. Zuko startles Mai with his mad dash to get the flaming apple off of her head, and though he succeeds in tossing the apple away, he also ends up crashing into her and knocking them both into a fountain in a tangled heap. After Azula and Ty Lee mock the pair about being "cute" together, Zuko storms off.
It is very likely that Mai and Zuko will meet soon in the future... and who knows what could happen?
Heck, support them or don't support them. I just find it very sweet about their childhood together, that's all. Though I am also a fan of Zutara, I still like the Maiko pairing. Of course, if I did own Avatar, then I'd have Zuko all to myself. XP
